Studio Armchair Samurai is a web site design and illustration studio located in Osaka, Japan. Designer and illustrator Rob Hori has been involved in illustration since his university days and has been doing web design and programming professionally for seven years. Translator and business mangaer A. Shimozuma has been involved in internationalization projects for many companies looking to expand into and out of Japan.

Simple is difficult and simple is beautiful because simple has to be perfect. It's easy to hide substandard work in ever increasing levels of complexity. To create something minimalist but attractive and arresting is not only practical web design, but challenging, stimulating work.
